Dan Winkler is the minister of Huntington TN Church of Christ, he is the father of Matthew Winkler who was the minister of the Selmer TN congregation. Matthew was shot and killed in March of this year. This sermon was delivered to the Huntington congregation the Sunday after the tragic death of his son. It was played for Goodman Oaks as the evening sermon on 4/16/06.

Dan and Diane Winkler did not plan to be raising three children at this stage of their lives. There has been a fund established to help Dan and Diane with the cost of counseling for their three granddaughters. One hundred percent of the donations received will go towards assisting the girls work through this tragic time in their lives and any funds left over will be used for their college education.
