MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nutrure mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten.
Approximatley 3,000 MOPS groups meet in churches throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries.
The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire - to be the best mothers they can be.
MOPS had its first meeting in 1973
Through friendship, creative outlets, and instruction, the women began to understand that"mothering matters!"
Today, the same needs for significance are met in much the
same way in MOPS groups around the world.
